just now i was making a gin & tonic with the last of a small bottle of rye gin i've had for a a few years now, and i saw a deer in my backyard; after that a second one came over, but then a neighbor doing yardwork spooked them
yesterday i saw 5 back there too, a buck & his harem
such funny creatures, i think at this point i've now seen 15 deer in my whole life, discounting the many dead i've also now seen spattered across roads within the last few months
