Information Warfare: Info & Disinfo
You might be interested in the Information Warfare thread on QR/QRB. Version 1 was deleted by @flapjack & company on QR; version 2 is a new thread on QRB. Archives are below. I was OP, focus was on disinformation--how to recognize & expose it. Was thinking last night to possibly start another thread here, espec. if 8chan doesn't come up soon. So much good material coming up.

Thought to expand the focus to include both DISINFO and INFO; two sides of the same coin. Not only do we need to understand disinfo techniques but also how to get across info (bc "we are the news"). Potential topics are listed at the end. Although emphasis is on practical techniques, would be good to talk about the underlying purpose ("why we fight"--free speech, etc).

One main project in previous IW thread was collecting of anti Q/8chan hit pieces (see CAPP); this Sept report was posted on Voat (see below), but is usually posted on QR or QRB. More info below.
