It's the "core implosion" magic. The most overpowered vampire magic possible, but irregularly activated with no clear method.

I used what symbolics were available, this night, clear sky, bright moon, at a 4 way road crossing. Activation of the relevant directions, activation of the relevant procedure, using a simple circle. Then just pushing it. Many beings curiously appeared, I saw black humanoid shapes with wings fly by at the edges of my vision several times. The stars seemed to blink at me.

I knew the proper activation in a setting like this will be confirmed by a shooting star, so I held the position until one appeared in my field of vision.
