> A part of me accepts that, yes, this is gross exploitation. Fulci is not an enlightened soul, and what he depicted here is carnal, weird, and violent in a manner that is anything but sympathetic, humane, or nurturing. But another part of me looks at things like that video of a woman getting catcalled for ten hours in New York and thinks that maybe Fulci was just depicting something honest. Note how the violence against women in this film aren't just from one fucked up weirdo, but from men everywhere.
