If deaths are caused by the tenant, the landlord hires cleanup like usual but charges the tenant afterwards. In the event of suicide, the death is still caused by the tenant, so the estate and other tenants are responsibile for paying these charges. I don't live with my parents, which is how I know this. Somehow you don't. Why the fuck would a landlord pay thousands out of pocket to clean up human remains?

This shit is not free. Landlords charge for it. And they're gonna charge up to 4-5k for that alone while you're already shitting yourself from grief and trying to plan and pay for a funeral and burial.
