Alright, you've done your homework, I'll give you that.
That said, the point still stands that she could just be rationalizing logical reasons for an emotional insecurity. Kinda like how feminists emotionally hate men and make up flimsy ideological reasons to rationalize it.
I'll leave aside dissecting how those reasons don't really make sense, as their veracity is irrelevant to whether Ken's motives are sincere or not. (Shoutout to the Girlsdoporn situation. I imagine that if an ideologically sincere person were to research the topic of prostitution\porn, they'd lean towards being more against prostitutes\actresses instead of defending them)
> Being lied to for years about something so personally important to someone is traumatizing regardless of what it is about
Yeah, maybe you're right. I still think that if her concern is about ideology instead of personal reasons,
she wouldn't have such an emotional reaction, but maybe I'm projecting how I'd handle such a situation. Kinda like how women get ultra mad at the mention of "roast beef" jokes, to the point where you start suspecting there might be some actual truth there.
And don't get me started on the topic of porn being violent.
