This. I don't think she likes them either. She likely forces herself to go through them to reinforce the idea that she is an intellectual, because she's deeply insecure about her personality or how she is perceived by others.
Notice how she makes sure that EVERYBODY knows the obscure things she read/watch/listen to. Real intellectuals don't behave like that.
