i kept having nightmares after seeing 
her death picture. i don’t know why. i have 
seen tons of gore but i never got the same 
reaction. maybe it’s because it’s just
so different looking, it looked nothing like her, 
it was like i was seeing someone,or,
something, else and it didn’t feel right. 

i ended up trying to make the picture look
more like her so i could rationalize it in my
head better and avoid some of the obsessive
intrusive thoughts i would have about it. it
helped me. maybe it will help someone else,
though, i know my reason was tied to a
mental illness so who knows.
