They are literally teenagers by definition "eightTEEN" "nineTEEN", not to mention them not having the emotional maturity having been in their last year of high school or fresh into college. Also I've never really seen women mention anything about women over 23 or so unless its a man whos double her age (i.e. her father's age) in which case that *is* an understandable concern.

It's an understandable concern regardless of whether the partner double the other's age is male or female.

One thing I've seen my female coworkers rage about is this new viral show called The Nevermets in which a 17 year old British boy is flying to India to meet his 26 year old e-gf. The women i know are outraged about it and how the situation was allowed to air.
