This in particular is just totally nail on the head. And it definitely explains her views on romantic love too and certain things she's done and said. 
I do find it important that Ken has never called herself a Christian. I think part of her she wishes she could be one but knows she can't ever be anything of the sort because she is too aware of how flawed human beings are, but wants to believe in some sort of transcendental goodness anyway, even though she knows no one can attain it. Her blogpost was about mistranslations of the bible and how inaccurate all the various translations can be, but there was an overtone of disapproval of Christian puritanism. Caught between Spinoza and Simone Weil kek. Poor girl
