I've no idea. Grills like heroes. Those who step up and they can be proud of, his "glory" reflects onto them and they bask in it. So they like prestige. Problem is prestige is a very fickle thing, and yesterday's glory is today's mediocrity.
But all the grills are different.
They have to find you interesting, needs something that makes you unique, but not too weird. You could be into things they don't understand as long as you can sell it in a way that doesn't make them feel... I dunno.
Confident helps, but some grills are motherly and like the (seemingly) shy ones. But this all depends how they perceive you, like 99% of them judge very hastily.
They are also extremely rarely direct and won't tell you what they actually think they are like Englishmen.
As for the looks. A professor of mine once said: a woman has to be beautiful, but for men, it's enough if they are just a bit nicer than the devil. Don't mix it with the "handsome devil" English expression. The devil is buttugly.

These could be into drugs/alcohol (to relax and do stuff, or just for the substance itself), or could be entirely abstinent depending on her background, family, upbringing. Former can have daddy issues (divorced parents, or was beaten).
The music and everysthing else can be genuine interest, or most commonly just a passing one they claim interest in because they have interest in a specific dude who has genuine interest in this.
I really don't know. People wrote volumes about this topic, almost all useless. From what I know people are just let themselves get into relationships. Both men and women. And there are some who manipulates others into one.
Just talk to her. Whatever.
