I went and bought a new inflatable donut cushion. The exact same type that failed on me before. The original may have failed but while it was working it was much better than the expensive foam one I replaced it with. I kept the receipt, I will keep using these inflatable ones and just exchange them each time their seams blow out. The absolute state of my arse.
