The Warriors (1979) will be on womboflix tonight neets. Based on the ancient story greek story Anabasis about greek mercenaries who get trapped deep inside the persian empire and have to fight their way out, it tells the story of a street gang in the 70s that gets trapped deep in hostile territory, framed for murder and hunted by enemy gangs. Many theatres banned it back in 1979 after reports it triggered violence in audiences, but it has since become a cult movie. 7pm AEDT.
