I know about Csepregi Éva and Neoton Familia and the like I dunno. I was listening Deep Purple and ACDC when I was a kid. And Dire Straits and ZZTop and Queen and whatnot.
I can suggest Hobo Blues Band, P. Mobil, or even LGT (Locomotiv GT) when it comes to Hungarian bands. Edda and Bikini are also classics, except I do not like them. Beatrice can be fun on the other hand. When it comes to classic heavy metal it's Ossian or Pokolgép - if something harder then can pick from Moby Dick, through Ektomorf to Slytract. Not to mention Csihar Attila. And I wrote a whole lot about Hungarian punk on me blog.
