You wood not get it, they are plastic, yes, but take a fraction of energy, water and time to extract a shot compared to loading up the moka pot and putting it on the burner. Its a perfect system i have it so down. I can wake up in the most awful state at any temperature or time, plop a pod in, press the shot button, and extract 60ml of koffee in about 10 seconds (warm up included) then plop an ice cube in and into the syringe it goes at a pleasant 33 degrees c. No clean up, no mess (except in the toilet bowl about 15 minutes later)
