I actually agree with a lot of your statement, after the Patriot Act was signed into law back in 2001 that's when the government and politicians started shitting all over the US Constitution and continue destroying it piece by piece today. That said we still have our guns and we still have food at the grocery stores, and as long as Americans don't starve or have a reason to get off their ass over some "red line in the sand" (supposedly, we'll likely see about that unfortunately) then Americans are going to keep working and keep paying their taxes like good little goyim. On the other hand, it's easy for the government to fuck this all up too, by pushing people over the edge or causing hyperinflation and crashing the economy (and the squatter rebellion from the 2008 mortgage collapse would look like a walk in the park next time around). If you don't know about the 2008 squatter rebellion it's because the corporate media and govt memory holed it. Picture this: forced evictions led to destroyed pipes, vandalized walls, in some cases entire homes were hit with arson, toilets jammed with cement bags, homeless people taking over other vacant homes illegally, etc. And this made real estate, landlords, banks and taxpayers lose a whole lot of $$$.
