Then pop! out came a tiny, very hungry caterpillar! He started eating... On Monday, he ate through one apple — but he was still hungry. On Tuesday, he ate through two pears — still hungry! Then three plums, four strawberries, five oranges... By Saturday, he ate SO much — chocolate cake, ice cream, a pickle, cheese, salami, lollipop, pie, sausage, cupcake, and watermelon that he got a tummy ache! 😵 On Sunday, he ate a nice green leaf and felt much better. Then... he built a cocoon, stayed inside for two weeks... And came out a beautiful butterfly!
