So what something is old? If it's still useful and you like using it, then use it. Do you think I'm going to get rid of my massive DVD collection of classic movies and older sitcoms and throw away my DVD players just because some people cry about it being "outdated"? Fuck no, still useful to me and I still watch DVDs. It's what I like to do and it's no one else's business. The same goes for my digital media collections or just about anything else. I don't care if it's old or not, if I can use it and like to use it then I will.

Yah pretty much this here. Most other platforms want or demand "muh 2-pass verification" scheme where they absolutely know exactly who you are, they can easily track every user and hack your phone and spy on you. Fuck that shit. At least if they are spying on me, I'm at least making it a lot more inconvenient for them to while using a VPN of-course.
