Not sure this helps but....
Currently I am using an Avolusion USB enabled 16TB external harddrive for my computer and it works far better than most other brands. It is also compatible for Windows 7 which is nice because I refuse to upgrade or update the OS and removed the auto-updater many years ago. Pre-formatted to NTFS it can be used with almost any Windows operating system including many existing video game consoles.
