I'm in the same boat as you...

make sure the drop is 2 meters, (better to be safe than strangle yourself) then you're death will be instant. I'd recommend finding a tree and jumping off, If the drop is too long your head will pop off (still minimal pain though), too short and you'll strangle (a lot of pain).

I would continue to live but I have nowhere to stay with good people.
