anyone else tired of video in general?

i can't even watch video really anymore for entertainment. i used to follow dozens of channels and keep up with all of them. 

all i watch now is specific tutorials to stuff i am actually doing or news and news has lost most of it's appeal.

internet has turned to shit so much that it is just a tool to get free ebooks 🤣

since getting a nice ebook reader with the e-ink display, books have really grown on me. it's not fun to sit in front of a glowing screen but sitting somewhere comfy and looking at the little e-ink screen that doesn't glow while using my imagination somehow appeals more to me. video grabs too much attention. book is more gentle on the attention so i can enjoy nature sounds.

i would not have expected this. a few years ago i genuinely thought books were dead and an obsolete medium but now i am very glad it exists.
