In the 1960s everyone was looking forward to the new founded "space age" and the advancing consumer technologies that was making life easier for the modern family. Housing was affordable. One working man in the family could pay the mortgage, the utility bills, commuting costs and the food. Cities were organized and clean. America had massive industries that far out-competed the rest of the world. Our GDP far surpassed the national debt.

In the 2020s, 60 years later, almost no one is looking forward to anything anymore. Most people are maxxed out on credit card debts, living paycheck to paycheck. Millions are forced to live in their vehicles today because they cannot afford a home or apartment to live in. The cities in America are trashed, riddled with homelessness, drug addiction and violent crime yet swept under the rug never allowed to be discussed by media, and the national debt is now $40 TRILLION with debt bigger than the GDP.

So what went wrong? How did we get here? What would you recommend being done to correct this?
