The woman told her flatmates that she had taken tablets following a telephone call with a boyfriend. She was seen to have yellow saliva at the corners of her mouth, and was shaking uncontrollably. After being given water to drink, she vomited about a glassful of yellow liquid. A bottle that had contained 100 drotaverine 40mg tablets was found, with only 5 tablets remaining. An ambulance was called, but before its arrival she was seen to stiffen as if having a fit. She subsequently turned blue, clenching her teeth and biting her tongue, and her jaw locked. Paramedics found her fitting about 90 minutes after she presented to her flatmates. An ECG revealed bizarre arrhythmias, with bradycardia following extreme tachycardia. Pulseless cardiac arrest occurred 20 minutes later. Spontaneous circulation returned after 10 minutes, but no respiratory effort was noted. A second cardiac arrest occurred on arrival at hospital. The woman could not be resuscitated. A postmortem examination was inconclusive. Toxicological analysis of vitreous humour, femoral blood and stomach contents showed the presence of drotaverine in concentrations of 1.9, 0.8 and 91 mg/L, respectively. No other drugs were detected. Author comment: "Drotaverine overdosage may cause vomiting and seizures with associated cardiac toxicity that may prove fatal." Возможно был бы смысл добавить (с обязательной седацией, чтобы когда дротаверин начал действовать сознания уже не было) в комплект к чему-то что само по себе гарантирует смерть, но недостаточно быстро ее вызывает (опиаты/амитриптилин по кишке и т.п.: время от потери сознания до смерти может превышать сутки). Как дигоксин, который добавили в сами по себе смертельные без него смеси DDMP и DDMA. Но как но-шпа может прореагировать с другими препаратами в организме, может сказать только медик. Лучше не рисковать.
