Ah I misunderstood. I just aim for total calories, for me (big guy) 2800kcal plus bike kJ in kcal is usually around maintenance. So for example yesterday I did 4100kcal in riding so I ate just under 7000kcal. And I try to eat very carb-heavy foods so that carbs make up around 60 percent or more of the total energy.
