no idea that doesn't seem to be something anyone has ever studied or at least I never heard anything about it and I've been trying to read about everything cycling science related.
As a rule of thumb its always a good idea to ignore everything oldfags say because its all based on nothing but their imagination and as we all know pro cyclists are literal retards with only a few exceptions. They've been wrong about almost everything from nutrition to tires to training to handlebars to gearing to race tactics, man that covers almost everything kek.
Off the top of my head I think there are some top tier pros with rather short legs like cav and scaleb at least they always looked short legged to me. Arguably it should be a lot easier to ride in an aero position with short femurs as well
