Djien dobry! What a frantic week of racing we've had! Cyclisme is a certified world-wide pandemic in August 2025, with racing in the Arctic circle, South America, Eastern Europe, Iberian Peninsula, France, and the Himalaya all in one day!!! What a great day to enjoy another /WORLD TOUR WINE/ (bier) !!

Today's stage in the Tour de Pologne departs from Katowice (which I only know from Counterstrike tournaments) and heads south, skirting the city of Tychy where today's beer is made. Despite regal origins dating back to the early 17th century, this is now owned by the Dutch and is a mass-produced lager. It is one of the most popular Polish beers with a 20% market share. By comparison, Anheuser-Busch is at 34% in the United States (I do admit, when I drink beer at a restaurant, I do ask for a Stella Artois).

Tyskie ($3)

Pours a transparent golden color with white mousse, quickly fading. The nose is lightly hoppy, lightly sweet. The palate opens with sweet bread and finishes with light bitter hops.

Clean, fine. Not interesting.

Photo avec le chien Bruxellois. He always has an interest whenever I open a beer.
