It's just that cycling teams change names and sponsors all the time. So all the Wanty riders will join Lotto and the legal entity of the team, let's call it Team Wanty, is now empty with no riders. Q36.5 takes over sponsoring of this legal entity, and all their runners will transfer from the old Q36.5 to 'Team Wanty', which will now be renamed 'Team Q36.5'. I think that is sort of how it works
