It is very interesting to drink this as it really does taste like a Dundee Hills PN from Oregon. Both of these regions share volcanic and loess soils and apparently similar climates (a bit cooler than Burgundy, way cooler than anywhere in California).

I have a great love for German Riesling and the occasional Spatburgunder (but I usually drink Burgundy and Oregon and Sonoma Coast PN).
