He really should just ride and act like a good boy until he gets an actual good offer (or until he moves up again in the hierarchy by winning something big). He'll still get good race calendars even without going to the Tour. The only thing he seems to be missing atm is training with Sola which Almeida gets to.

More than whatever happened last year, I guess his main problem is actually how much he overlaps with Del Toro in stage racing, classics and age.
