The races are coming thick and fast in this last part of the season, and so comes another SENSATIONAL edition of /WORLD TOUR WINE/ !!

I actually botched this one a bit, as this bier I drink for stage 2 of le Tour de Renewi, but drank it so deep into Burger Hours that I didn't post it. Keep an eye out for a SECOND edition of /wtw/ for today's Vuelta stage!!

Arabier ($7)

This is a Belgian strong pale ale made just west of the course. This has a very charming parakeet on the bottle and features a bow-tie.

Pours a deep cloudy blonde with incredible mousse, maybe the best of the year. The nose is a bit flat, just some hoppy zestiness and lemon. The palate is all peppery hops and restrained malt. Finish is noble hops, no alcoholic burn or sweetness.

Really nice, I feel like if I lived in Belgium, this would be my go-to bier because it just drinks so well, but it's not terribly complex or interesting. Sometimes that's ok. Good!
