Well, it looks like something.
Lecsó is fine chopped onions fried on lard, sliced paprika and tomato fried some I prefer it al dente, some cook it soggy. Spices: salt, pepper, ground red pepper. Can be made hot or "sweet" depending on paprika.
Popular to serve it with rice on the side, or mixed in, with various types of fried sausages, kolbász, hot dogs, and/or salo the lard can be replaced entirely with the fat from the fried salo.
It's a very simple recipe, and I like it in itself the most with some fluffy white bread. Tho I'm fine with eating it like above, or with freedom fries, and fried chops so it can be a side dish to some meats.
