idk either, it's pretty easy to gauge your fitness so they ought to know that they stand no chance and idk why one would show up to a circuit race if you have no chance of competing for placement or getting paid (I assume they don't get paid). Maybe they just want to experience the atmosphere for once but I can think of better ways to spend vacation kek
