Bear with me, this is a Slav speaking, accustomed to some wacky solutions, if it is dumb but it works it is not dumb. Just a dab of WD40 hoping whatever it does to degrease stuff will be not enough to saturate the Park Tool whatever 001 grease and make it watery, penetrating.
Otherwise the bearings might not bear it hehe.
