2021 wasn't much different to start, it followed the comic, new stories were being made or old ones frequently updated, and generally the threads were calm and business as usual. However, that discord from earlier had been growing and expanding, and as private internet groups typically do, they bicker. This bickering, be it over moderation disputes or anything else, spilled into the threads unfortunately. Threads saw much, much more negativity over the discord, over fandroids, over creators, etcetera. This culminated in a February thread being permasaged before bump limit because of bickering over the discord, and in the next month an entire /co/ thread and, later, /aco/ thread derailed and ruined by a single tripfag, ReichsFuhrer, angry over being banned from the discord and using the threads to name members out of spite and anger. This downward spiral of events fostered intense and often fatalistic negativity towards other anons, creators, the threads, Dom, and everything Emmy at points. The Discord has since been almost a nothing in the scope of the fandom, ignoring the random shit-fit and screenshot post, but the stain of these past threads has stayed in the fandom since then. This spawned the all-too-common moment posting, where you take a namefag and put it before "moment". It started as "Reichs moment(s)" and blossomed into being used as a cudgel against fandom creators in general, which dragged on for most of 2021 into the Fall again. This is where a notorious fandom troll, and one first seen during Ms. /co/, outed himself as a momentposter, a discord-leaker, and the oppaiposter (a recurring shitposter who would post oppai loli porn as a derailing, shitposting, etc tactic). This realization helped to cleanse at least some of the anger and confusion over the past months' lack of simply "good" threads, and for a time there was a shift towards a more positive outlook on the threads, and one concerned with their health more than ever.
