I forget what brand it was, but I used to have a $20 offbrand Blackberry clone from Amazon and it worked just fine for anything I cared to do with it except for receiving texts with links or attachments (got annoying to keep telling everyone I couldn't see their photos or websites), could even stick a 32gb microSD full of mp3s.
