Father and mothers are very normal/popular on Earth. But the average mortal human (mediocre beings) doesn't care enough of their own children/springs (creation), they reproduce like rabbits (animals) because they create mortal/temporal beings.
We could be father/mother, but we are aware of the big responsibility of our own creation, we don't create beings lightly.
