It's only "hard to figure out" if I want to figure it out. I know that in the end the only thing that matters is ones emotion. Everyone wants to maximize positive emotions, and minimize negative emotions. And if we understand each other correctly (through truth) and are able to feel empathy for others then we can solve most of our problems.
