There was a thread on /pol/ here called "the truth about pepe/kek". My first introduction to pepe was during the usage of it in /rk9/ ~2010 as the sadfrog. Eventually pepe started to be memed as smiling. The classic pepe smile. I know its origins and what people attribute to it is disturbing to say the least what with jabulon and the boys club comic.speaking of the boys club comic there is an issue where in a panel they have pepe smearing himself in what is called "mystic pizza". It is in  >>/2449/ in the pizzagate threads pdf. Might be able to tinyeye a thumbnail of it I don't think its under a wordsearch for pepe its a post with the text "WTF" in one of the initial pg threads.  Very strange but what I enjoyed about pepe was the pre-kek smile memeing. There was many versions of pepe torturing normies and it was very edgy at the time to see the sadfrog smiling and taking charge of his memetic persona. But of course this is used by all kinds of factions mainly by the look of it masons to attribute it to some sort of tophat WB frog thing they have as a inside joke. But recently pepe itself is in a state of memetic warfare. Most of it is to merge it with satanism like the kek false idol stuff. But on another level it is something that because of its usage and familiarity it can transcend all of it because it was originally a sad frog image taken from a comic book parlayed into a "when did everything go so right" persona. It is like the buddah or something of the west at this time. Pepe has a familiar sort of spirit for lack of a better word that is not nefarious in and of itself. Definatly being abused to make it so you can't use this simple smiling frog because of what they try and push it as. Its the face of what the median anger of the 4chan/normies/psyop-guidence is that is why it is so memetic.
