Is the PTR redundant in anyway? Or is it a big point of failure?

If so, would it not make sense to try to fix this?
With over 650m tags, that's absolutely massive.

Redundancy is important.
I know there are a few exports and backups, but I mean something fairly automatic and decentralized.

I see nothing on the Hydrus website about this.
