I'm trying to best fit a set of fixed length trapezoids to circles of any size. There's proprietary software that does it, but I'm trying to work out the geometric functions and visualization myself. This is just a start. I'll likely try out Freecad too. This is the first time I've used CAD programs since Autocad class in high school.
