I never not power off my PC every time I'm through with it, even turning the power supply switch off if I'm gone-gone for hours or asleep. 

It's goofy and retarded but at least it's mesh and fun colored (if the mesh green existed and I slapped a stupid original Xbox sticker/magnet on it).
