Sounds like you still might have to go to the bank to make sure. Very annoying when this happens. Sure you usually get your money back, but it takes days. Like you said, you wanted to go grocery shopping but it won't get fixed by tomorrow.
I'm sure this is happening around your area. From what I've seen a lot of people within the area also get their cards compromised.
Have you been to any gas stations where you still had to swipe your card into a slot?
