I guess one of the things I forget, or never take into account, is that the Japs do seem to have a very high sense of nationalism, even when it comes to their every day purchases.
For an American where 90% of my shit says Made in China/Taiwan/Japan/India/Mexico it's kinda funny to see a brand lose it's foothold in the nation it started in, simply because it's not by technicality headquartered there anymore.
