I know it sucks, but it's the worst option to have when you absolutely need a car. Which is ironic because sometimes they prices on them can be pretty enticing.
Sometimes there's salvaged titles out there that were salvaged for something that seems frivolous because the insurance companies will salvage anything if the repair costs more than the cars worth. So even a keyed up car can be salvaged. But I'm sure that's not the usual case.

Yes? I'm not really judgemental on the brand of vehicles. Usually just the type. :^)
What Jeep though? Good ole Wrangler? Those can be pretty price unfortunately since they tend to hold value. But pretty much anything under the Fiat Dodge umbrella tends to have low consumer ratings. Though even Honda and Toyota have had their fair share of bad models.
Have you autistically looked up every model of car you've looked into to see how reliable it might be?
