Trump cut all military aid. As I understand "aid" as war material for Ukraine, and not every way us helps to Ukraine, such as the "soft assets" as Matt of Willyoam calls them (liek intelligence or EW capabilities).
First thing first: before the war Trump said that they'll tell both Kiev and Moscow to make peace. If Kiev is not willing then they'll cut aid from Ukraine, if Moscow doesn't want, then they'll raise support for Ukraine.
The two things are mutually exclusive can't cut and raise aid at the same time. But as long as Putin says he is willing to negotiate, Trump don't have to deliver that side of his word. And it's funny because he does not want to deliver more weapons to Ukraine, he declared all the time he wants the war to stop. Delivering weapons would mean Ukraine could defend herself longer.
However there is the spat with Zelensky. Now Trump can pull a Columbia with them.
What do I mean?
Earlier Trump started to deport some criminals back to their home country, such as Columbia. Columbia however said they won't take them back, so Trump said then they'll force them onto Columbia. And Columbia backed off.
I do believe this was Trump's way of making an example. They picked a country they knew she'll bend when pressured, and they did it. Now they play the same with Zelensky.
I think this whole drama is fake and is done to dazzle us, retards.

Note: on the homefront Trump can't really deliver. He got backlash both on deportation and the dismantling of US AID, both are stopped by the institutions of the US. He can't just do whatever he wants.
He also can't order Putin around. So he does it with Zelensky...
