Actually, age when woman starts to have problems with having kids varies very much, it is 35-50. Some women got early menopause and have problems in late 30s, some others could get kids without much problems until 50. It is related to genetics, health, lifestyle etc. 

If woman already has kids, she has more chances to get successful pregnancy in older age. Number of older mothers in past was actually bigger than in recent times, except maybe last years - but they had 3-4 kid at this time. Although, of course, after 30 it isn't so easy, and after 40 it is relatively hard to get successful pregnancy, especially in our time when people often very physically unfit because of obesity or low physical activity.

Considering autism - risk is significantly higher, but it isn't really high in absolute numbers.
