>>/34836/ >>/34837/ Oh yeah, it's stone, granite mostly with some slate like for the lintels. Stone walls need a certain kind of love but are very solid and very thick. I will be leaving them to dry out some now before plastering. I went up into the secret room but sadly, no treasure. I had hoped the geezer living here before might have hidden something up there but no. Speaking of the poor old sod though, taking off the wallpaper revealed lots of mould. Think of breathing that in for years, sad. Also, one of the slate lintels doesn't look too clever so I am going to have to be a bit careful around that area so I don't collapse anything.
