> I mean what if you don't have a personal tracking device cellphone?

They promise to supply your with one, temporarily.

If you don't agree with app at all, you will be fined and hospitalized - at least official site says so.

https://www.mos.ru/city/projects/monitoring/

Google translate:

> Patients with confirmed coronavirus infection undergoing treatment at home, citizens with symptoms of coronavirus infection, and people living with the sick should use the Social Monitoring service. If you have signed the Consent to receive home health care or the Sanitary Doctor's Order, refusing to use the service will be an administrative offense, which will result in a fine and hospitalization in a medical facility. We ask you to show social responsibility: download the application and start using it.

Technically, all these things don't really conform local laws (you can't be easily fined without evidence etc), but who cares. Some people tried to sue Moscow government, but process is slow and looks like it is going to fail.

It is only Moscow though, other parts of Russia have no such shit.

As far as I know, it is mostly typical common cold except one thing - after death of virus it's debris may provoke heavy inflammation in lungs because some proteins looks like something different etc (my medical knowledge ends here). So, even when body beats virus (as any common cold), you can have pretty dangerous pneumonia, and all these long-standing adverse effects are mostly same as for typical pneumonia. And pneumonia isn't a joke, it may deal damage for life. There also some coagulation problems that may end with stroke or similar thing. So, it is like relatively normal cold but with chance to get heavy problems after first stage. That viral pneumonia also isn't fatal too, but may be, especially if there are other health problems, or person just unlucky.

But chances of having these complications aren't that big, and I hope that it isn't my case. Only time will tell.
