Sri Lanka has popped. Crowds overran govt buildings and some official residences. President resigned and spokesman for the legislative body took over. Minutes later he resigned too.
Don't know what's the current political status except that they have taken another bit of debt, $57M from the USAID. (I recognise this funding source as one often seen splurging money there were the USG directs its political-influence or regime-change operation gaze. It also funds a bunch of secondary NGOs.)
