Moraes is anti-Bolsonaro but not necessarily pro-Lula. He twice served as a cabinet member in current VP Alckmin's state governments in São Paulo and also as Minister of Justice in Temer's government, which the Worker's Party still describes as an illegitimate coup-installed government.
